Sol & Luna celebrates one-year anniversary

Updated: Aug 12, 2021

It is hard to believe a year has already elapsed since I opened the doors of Sol & Luna Salon. When I began my career in Laguna Beach, I never thought I'd open my own salon; its too much work? Could I find that ideal space? Where would I even begin? However, since those early days, the beauty industry had shifted and I saw a lot of stylists venture out on their own.

The pandemic pushed me to be open to different directions and embrace the change. Within a few months, I was able to secure a space in my favorite building in Northern area of the downtown district of San Clemente. The mid-century style of building naturally influenced the relaxed vibe for my spacious studio to be born. My vision board of furnishings from Palm Springs to Mexico came into fruition slowly one backordered item at a time.

Through the pandemic, I have been fortunate enough to have such a loyal client base and had the opportunity to meet so many new guests as well. I have learned so much from my clients and their stories during this difficult time. Since it has been a year of transformation for everyone, I have relished pairing those changes with luxurious hair color.

As this year has flown by with foiling, shampooing, and blowdrying, I wanted to begin this next year by connecting with clients outside of their appointment windows. I will be posting more process videos on social media and hair blog posts about home maintenance, transformation processes and products.

I'm looking forward to sharing more of my Sol & Luna brand with you.

Xx,

Andrea
